I made my first trip to the Tetons this past summer during July with my dad and sister and loved it so much that I wanted to go back immediately. So, me being me, I went again in August with one of my best friends who is also my roommate at NDSU. The Teton Mountain Range is absolutely beautiful and there is so much to explore. My first trip was perfect weather and clear skies but on our second trip we experienced forest fire smoke coming from surrounding states. This made it difficult to see the details of the mountains but created a hazy vibe to the Teton Range which was really unique to see at sunset.
